Vanessa Hudgens wears blue to the Business of Beauty Awards

Vanessa Hudgens was the belle of the ball in New York City on Thursday night, where she was honoured at the Business of Beauty Awards for the creative contributions she makes to the beauty industry through her roles as a celebrity. The actress attended the awards alongside her boyfriend, Austin Butler, and the couple held hands as they headed in for the show. Austin looked dapper in a navy suit with a bow tie, and popped on some patterned socks.

Vanessa was one of the faces of CoverGirl’s 2015 Fempire shade collection – a shade named after the Blossom actress, and released in conjunction with the brand’s third ever lipstick range, Fempire Matte Lipstick. Previously, Vanessa, who is an ambassador for CoverGirl, said: “When I’m picking out makeup, I like to really consider the tone, feeling, and fashion of my face and outfit. I love it when I can have a great ‘look’ without having to go into the makeup station looking like a canvas for lipstick.”

Speaking about her favourite CoverGirl products, she said: “I always love using CoverGirl My LashBlast Mascara and their Perfecting Concealer. They’re super easy to use and make me feel great. I always love to experiment with my makeup, and while it’s important to stay true to my own personal style, the flexibility of these products allows me to try things with heavier and lighter makeup and concealer that looks good all day long.”
